We have been on the topic of food lately and it really makes me grateful that I know where most of my food comes from. This may look like a dirty pig to you and you may be thinking "oh I would never eat that" because it's too dirty or gross. Sadly this pig is cleaner and 100x better quality than any of the meat you buy at the store. I am thankful that I have the opportunity to raise my own meat. Knowing where your food comes from is good, but when you have known and raised the animal from the time it was delivered to the day it is slaughtered is rare. BUY LOCAL! SUPPORT LOCAL FARMERS! That's all :) Oh and that Aubrey in the picture.
She's the newest pig and was having fun in the mud today after feeding.
